Kokuu-Rikka- Breeze of Early Summer -

A few weeks ago, Osaka was crowded with many people viewing cherry blossom.
After cherry blossom viewing at JapanMint(11 April~17 April) which is famous for finalspring events,
the town comes back to normal for a while.

Around that time, young leaves appear on cherry trees and it seems like that nature is preparing to welcome summer.
In the early summer (the beginning of May), almost all trees cover themselves with young leaves,
and it's the excellent time to enjoy the beautiful young leaves.
The colors of young leaves are different among trees.
These new leaves are still soft and tiny, but at the same time, they express their strong vitality with various colors like lime green,
leaf green, apple green, jasmine yellow, and so forth.

Only in the early summer, mountains have the clean and gentle green color.
The mountains with various green colors have brilliant and crisp beauty.
Once you saw it, you can make an unforgettable memory in your mind.

At the end of May, these young leaves will grow up and turn a deep green.
We hope you can enjoy the seasonal breathtaking view.

In this way, the season has changed from spring to summer.
We prepare dishes which enable you to enjoy the taste of the early summer and the end of spring.
(Note: After the beginning of May, conger pike(Hamo), sweetfish(Ayu), and eggplant(Kamo-Nasu) will be served.)
