Kashiwaya is always innovating with new and creative dishes, while preserving the precious traditions of Japanese cuisine.
Kashiwaya’s worldview has been learned by observing the closeness that the Japanese people of ancient times felt toward nature and their appreciation of the beauty of the changing seasons.
We hope that you will enjoy briefly stepping outside of the day-to-day norm and into the realm of the seasons as you enter a room reflecting the beautiful changes of the four seasons.
The rooms were crafted in the sukiya style by the master sukiya architect Toshinori Nakamura.
Our restaurant has seven rooms each with a different feel, such as a traditional Japanese tea house.
Kashiwaya’s kaiseki cuisine upholds the traditions of Japanese culinary arts while also integrating modern tastes and ideas.
The tale of the four seasons woven into each course entices the five senses, allowing one’s heart to frolic and play.
